I can hack so why can’t I do bounties?
The introduction
Hello amazing hackers, just in case you don’t know me yet, I am The XSS Rat, the owner of a cybersecurity company that has taught over 150 000 students on Udemy and even though that number says nothing about my technical skills, I want to talk about it because it does show I have a broad sample size.
I’ve been wanting to do something back for the communnity and I feel like I can do that through my understanding. Today I want to show some understanding by writing (aka thinking) about your problems. If this article is well received, I will probably write more on problem statements from my broad audience.
No AI today, I write the way I speak, it’s a weird style and you lot seems to like it plus i want to get my points across and not ramble off some pre-gathered weak ass shit information. Or maybe I’ve been an AI from the start, you’ll never know ;-)
What forms a hacker into a hunter
The statement
The problem statement is simple today:
I can hack so why can’t I do bounties?
This issue is something I often see because so many of you are excellent pentesters yet can’t get a bounty if your life depends on it, or you can hack all the portswigger labs…
